Our "Historic Artifacts" collection is inspired by dig sites, findings and artifacts that are exhibited in location and museums all around the world. The Thinker is a bronze sculpture made by Auguste Rodin in 1904. Rodin conceived the figure as part of his work The Gates of Hell which was smaller in size, but the first of the familiar monumental bronze castings was made in 1904.
