Oil Lamp - Historic Artifacts - Handmade 925 Sterling Silver Necklace

Our "Historic Artifacts" collection is inspired by dig sites, findings and artifacts that are exhibited in location and museums all around the world. This oil lamp is found in Italy and is decorated with two gladiators, a samnite and a hoplomachus, fighting. Below them is the inscription "ACVVIVS.V HERMEROSS." GIVING their names, Acuvius and Hermeros. In the centre of the slightly raised base is a foot-print with traces of relief letters and covered with a finger-marked orange-brown slip.
